I got all the info I need for video sharing alternatives, I just need to spend some time on them to see what sticks. FreeTube is gonna be a last resort option for anything I'd miss out on, but I'm not gonna use that unless it's a must. Otherwise, bye. 3:

I gotta admit, as nice as it is to not be using YouTube as much (the recent discovery of wplace is helping greatly) it's also bad since it stops me from being informed of news relating to every that's going on... And oh boy, they suck. A lot. I would say that I'm gonna quit YT for good, but the truth is, too many channels that I want to keep an eye on reside here specifically for me to go elsewhere without missing out on their content. Then again, juggling a bunch of small video sharing platforms to watch videos is probably better than being chained to a single large one. I'll just have to keep an eye out and see what those people do, I guess. In the meantime, uh. Glomble looks interesting. Well, all of the YT alternatives that I've heard of currently look like ok choices tbh, I'm sure I'll learn of more tho. Eventually I'll make the decision on which site I'll join in on. I've also heard of "Betanet," which while I have no idea whether that will even be a reality, it does sound interesting.

I'm gonna live through a really unfun time period in the world, I can tell you that. Yes, the world. This is definitely going to be a global era of popular unhappiness. That's my big prediction. Everybody's gotta have one of those, right? RIGHT?!?!? idk lmfao

I found a program named "FreeTube," that's essentially a non-web version of YouTube that gives you access to some basic features without needing a Google account. Because of this, I'm gonna just switch to using that for active video watching. I'll still use the website/mobile app to make posts, and once in a blue moon, even videos. If that goes to hell somehow... Well, I'm still looking into things, but the only site I know of is Bitchute. I've visited it a few times in the past, albeit I haven't really used it. I get the feeling it isn't the best choice, mainly because it's probably subject to the same legal bullshit that's been passed in... Apparently the EU too. _fuck._

Past Bitchute though, I'd be more concerned about platform longevity, security, exposure... Stuff like that. Not like anyone sees these posts, anyways...But it's good to keep that stuff in mind, y'know?

But yee, no more of this nonsensies. No more sillies. Enough of these tomfooleries. :3

Ok so August 13th is when this site goes to hell, got it. Fuck you, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Parliament. Or something, idk I'm in the US. Unfortunately. God, living in an English-speaking country is terrible. Guess I should take language learning more seriously. First choice is Swedish, but that limits me to like, 2~4 countries, depending on how mutually intelligible Swedish is to Norwegian and Danish, and maybe isn't the best choice? But also they have some of the higher [insert long-ass acronym here] acceptance rate than a lot of other European countries, so... idk.

Well, I'm surprised how far I've gotten. I've been kinda bored, so that's why I'm playing Requiem a lot more than I was. I like that even as I unlock more plants and get a better understanding of everything that the game is still as difficult as it was when I first started playing. I think that shows how well designed Requiem is imo. I get the feeling things will only get harder once I start playing the next batch of worlds.

It's nice to be able to use Shine-Vine as a proper sun producer. I never got to use vanilla Shine-Vine so it's nice to see this side of the plant. Since frozen plants and vines can't be frozen, FC-5... Could've been worse if I wasn't prepared.

Listening to the new PvZ2C world's music. They actually made a proper multi-wave OST for a world! And even better, they didn't just slop a motif across a bunch of chord progressions for each wave and call it a day! Sure, all the pre-final wave tracks blend together, but the final wave is perfect. Well, all of them are perfect, they get the vibe of the world across, give the world a unique sound (the handpan is awesome btw!) and outside of the legally required Crazy Dave motif in the first wave, it's all original! Take notes, Reflourished! *TAKE. NOTES.*

Man, if I ever get a chance to make a video essay, it's totally going to be on custom world OST's in various PvZ2 mods. Thinking about it, there aren't really any good videos on PvZ's music in general, is there?

got game maker studio 2 working on Linux finally. Turns out I needed to install a bunch of stuff and make an account. Feels like it works the same as game maker 6, but with a more cluttered GUI. But hey, i can actually use it like a normal person now. Maybe not normal, but... you get what I mean, right? :3 Yeah, I've lost track of everything I was gonna do this year lmfao... Who knows what you'll hear from me next- Maybe I'll have reinstalled Mint on my laptop to start from scratch- oh wait I did, haha! don't worry i backed my stuff up :3
